DO I NEED A LICENSE TO RENT A BOAT?
The requirement for a license to charter a boat varies by location and the type of boat you are chartering. A license or certification is required for boats from 16 feet generally, such as speedboats or sailboats and catamarans. Make sure your license is valid before booking.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF AVENTURA SAILING?
Aventura Sailing provides unique routes and planned sailing experiences around the world. We have access to the largest yachts database with more than 10,000 boats worldwide. The customer does not pay extra for the service, our commission is based on the charter company's rate and we are committed to finding the best value for your quote.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
In general, renting a sailboat includes the boat itself and with all the described equipment , including safety equipment, bed linen, towels and GPS chart plotter.
Not Included: Skipper, chef or crew services, fuel, final cleaning of the vessel, food, transportation expenses and transfer from/to the base, port taxes, tourist taxes. Services not included will be listed in the offer and clarified prior to its confirmation.

HOW DOES IT WORK WHEN HIRING A SKIPPER OR CHEF?
Renting a boat with a skipper means you are hiring a professional to sail and operate the boat for you for the duration of the rental. The skipper is responsible for ensuring the safety of the vessel and its passengers, as well as planning and executing the navigation route. Typical Skipper and Hostess or Chef rates range between 180-240 Euros per day, depending on location, type of yacht and time of year.
HOW DOES THE PAYMENT WORK?
The payment terms are 50% upon booking and the balance 40 days before the trip starts.
Payments can be made via credit card, Paypal or bank transfer.
